The big thaw has finally happened and gone are those beautiful snow scapes for now! Now all attention is on preparing the best programmes for all our visitors this summer! Lets hope the weather gets better before then!

There is no point changing what is already working so this year we are back again with our junior classic programmes such as Family Integration and Farm integration. Back again is our popular programme at Campbell allowing you to attend a summer camp with local boys and girls and stay with one of them and their family. Also back due to popular demand is our popular residential camp, Mountain Adventure, allowing you to take part in a fantastic adventure camp with local boys and girls.
New for Juniors 2011 we have lots of new options each of them as always guaranteeing total immersion in the English language and contact with boys and girls of a similiar age. Check out the web for more details or see the following link:

A magical little bar where times stands still. I was very saddened to hear of the very recent loss of Jarvis himself. He will be sorely missed. Surely one of the finest barmen the island has ever seen; a wise gentleman of few words. Jarvis R.I.P.

Si no se puede conseguir la leche de mantequilla se puede añadir unas gotas de limón a la leche normal….espero que disfrutéis!

Ahhhh….la receta está en inglés así como las instrucciones de como elaborarlo…..si no la podéis seguir y necesitáis un empujón con el inglés por que no apuntarse a uno de nuestros cursos en Irlanda?….incluso se ofrece un taller de pan irlandés como una opción adicional!

Ingredients Irish Soda Bread

450g plain flour

1 level teaspoon bicarbonate of soda

1 teaspoon caster sugar

½ teaspoon salt

About 400ml buttermilk

 Makes one large loaf

Mix the dry ingredients together in a large bowl. Gradually mix in the buttermilk to give a moist dough. Place in a greased 900g loaf tin and bake in an oven preheated to 230oC for 30 minutes, until the loaf sounds hollow when turned out of the tin and tapped underneath. Place on a wire rack to cool.
